Born in
Missouri, Michael has worked his whole life at
balancing his personal and professional life
with the pursuit of his other passions. Born
under the astrological sign of Libra, Michael is
a very creative individual and taught himself to
play piano and guitar by his early teens,
thriving when involved in anything that
stimulates his artistic nature.
Michael
majored in British Literature and minored in
Music at Northern Arizona University. He then
studied classical guitar with Walter Spalding.
While all this was going on, he earned his black
belt in Kajukenbo. Add to all this the birth of
his twin daughters and you can understand his
talent for balancing so many things at once.
About a year and a half later, Michael and his
wife welcomed the addition of a son to their
family.
After
working a number of years for Marriott in the
food service industry, Michael made a career
change that took him into the health food
industry.
Throughout
the years he has played guitar and sang….played
and sang! Writing his own music, drawing on his
life experiences. This has given his children a
deep appreciation of music and exposure to a
variety of genres.
Being
married with children and having a “day job” are
challenges when being a band member….. Michael
usually handles these challenges well. A super
hero to his children and a devoted loving
husband to his wife – Michael is a true master
at life.
